SPRING ONION DAL FRY
Ingredients:
- Toor dal -1 cup
- Chopped onion - 1 table spoon
- Chopped tomatoes - 1 cup(need two full tomato medium size)
- Asafoetida balls or powder - 3 small balls or 1/2 tea spoon
- Salt - 1 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon
- Water - 2 1/4 cup
- Ghee - 1 tea spoon
- Oil - 1 tea spoon
- Cumin seeds -1/4 tea spoon
- Chopped spring onion - 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste -1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala -1/2 tea spoon
- Chopped green chilli - as you needed
- Chopped coriander leaves -as you needed
Procedure:
- Take one cup toor dal ,wash properly.
- Take one cooker add this washed toor dal,chopped onion,chopped tomatoes,asafoetida powder ,salt,turmeric powder one by one.
- Then add 2 cup of water,close the cooker lid keep cook almost 10 minutes.
- Take one pan add ghee and oil each one teaspoon,
- Once become hot the oil and ghee add cumin seeds make it fry
- Then add chopped onion pieces and mix it well
- Now add ginger and garlic paste and mix it well
- Then add red chilli powder,garam masala,salt one by one and mix it well
- Now add your cooked toor dal before that you smashed perfectly.and mix it well
- Now add 1/4 cup of water then mix it
- Then add chopped green chilli for more spicy and tasty.
- Finaaly add chopped coriander leaves over on it
- Now our spring onion dal fry is ready
- This is very good combination for roti,chapati,puri,paratha,afgan roti(dhamees)
